Just to explain a little bit...
- we supply and fit, zinc / copper valleys and gutters that we solder (welding), no silicone .
- On flat roofs ,we do not use fiberglass, which is one of the worst materials . To realize a fiberglass roof, you do not need a roofer, you can do that yourself, this is DIY , you can learn that in one hour, and be disappointed, when it starts to crack and leak, after 2 or 3 years.
- Torch on felt is grandpa time, it is also very dangerous, it could burn your house .
- Roof paint is just BS (sorry for the bad word)
We use 2026 technology single ply membrane, EPDM membrane (lasts up to 50 years). "Why is my roofer not using these new materials?" You will ask !
These new materials require skill, attention to detail, training, tools and special equipment, that deter quick fixers to use them.
- Plastic gutters are common in Ireland, if you like them, we will supply and fit them, (black, white, brown, round and moulded) as well as facia soffit.
